I would like to deploy this on about 300+ machines when its running. I cannot seem to get past this point in trying to hide these specific updates. Right click each update and click Uninstall. Look through the list for the KB3035583 and KB2976978 update. Set-WindowsHiddenUpdate -Hide $true -Verbose Click Start (or press Windows key + S for Windows 8.1 users) Type: view installed updates. Get-WindowsUpdate | Get-Random -Count 6 | Write-Warning -Message "Failed to query Windows Update because $($_.Exception.Message)" $SearchResult = $Searcher.Search($Criteria) Microsoft avoids the string 'Windows 10' in the text, so the average user will not get any idea what the update does. $Criteria = "IsInstalled=0 and DeploymentAction='Installation' or IsPresent=1 and DeploymentAction='Uninstallation' or IsInstalled=1 and DeploymentAction='Installation' and RebootRequired=1 or IsInstalled=0 andÄeploymentAction='Uninstallation' and RebootRequired=1" This update will be offered only if KB2977759, KB2952664, or KB2976978 is installed on Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 7 Service Pack 1 (SP1), or Windows 7 RTM. $Searcher = $Session.CreateUpdateSearcher()
